About  Oraukura 3 Incorporation

Oraukura 3 Incorporation was established in 1947. At that time, milling of lands between Taumarunui and Turangi was in progress, but it was not until the 1960s that Oraukura land was milled. Then in the 1970s, the Oraukura land was converted into a farm, with assistance from the Department of Maori Affairs.

Oraukura Station spans 1,115 hectares, of which 1,084 hectares is effective farm area. Nestled between Mount Ruapehu and Lake Taupo, and 30km north west of Turangi, the station carries an average of 12,000 stock units; mainly deer, beef and sheep.

On 1 February 2010, Oraukura formed a limited partnership with Puketapu 3A Incorporation. The farm activities of both Incorporations are now governed and managed through Tuatahi Farming (2010) Limited Partnership.

Unclaimed Dividends

As at 31 October 2023, Oraukura 3 Incorpated had 1,192shareholders who held a total of 2,711,651 shares.

Like many other Maori land entities, the Incorporation does not have current contact details for all shareholders to whom it owes dividends.

We only have addresses for 52% of owners, so no addresses for 48%.

As a consequence, our unclaimed dividend putea continues to rise each year, despite concerted efforts to secure current contact details for our shareholders. As at 31 October 2023, Oraukura’s unclaimed dividend amount totalled over $340,000.

The Incorporation will continue to advertise ‘top 25’ unclaimed dividend lists on a quarterly basis in a number of regional newspapers. In addition, please click on the link below to see the names of shareholders to whom we owe dividends. This list is updated on a six monthly basis. If your name appears on the list or you are a descendant of a person named on the list, please contact us.
